We are seeking a driven, dependable, and professional Administrative Assistant to support our Funeral Director Manager and help our team serve families with care and compassion. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, works hard, communicates well, and takes pride in doing things right. The right person will bring a professional appearance, a caring attitude, strong organizational skills, and an interest in media and digital content.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and online inquiries
- Assist the Funeral Director Manager with daily administrative tasks
- Coordinate transportation and scheduling
- Prepare and organize required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain accurate electronic records
- Assist with obituaries, tribute videos, website updates, and social media
- Communicate with families and team members
- Provide general administrative and office support
Qualifications

Texarkana Funeral Home is a family owned business that has been around since 1939. Originally started by Howard Fuqua, it is now run by his Grandsons, Vickers and Thomas Fuqua. We are located in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas, with seven funeral homes along I-30 from New Boston, Texas to Gurdon, Arkansas.
In addition, we also own three perpetual care cemeteries; Hillcrest Memorial Park in Texarkana, TX, Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, AR, and Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, AR.
